Mini Photo-shoot in the snow!

It snowed!

Whenever it gets cold enough to actually leave snow on the ground I know it will only stick around for a day or two. So I took the opportunity to get out to the park while it looked so pretty, to play around with my camera and take a few self-portrait shots.

Straightened my hair, threw on some makeup (which then smudged like crazy when my eyes watered from the cold, note to self - use waterproof eyeliner next time...), threw on layers upon layers and took off to find a nice little scenic spot.

I've been taking a small online photography course and have learned a whole lot. This was a fun, quick little shoot to practice. (It was WAY to cold to stay out for long). I'm really happy with the pictures. :) Now I just need to find someone else to take pictures of for more practice.

    1. Thanks! It was a struggle honestly! I need a remote shutter control because using the self timer was driving me crazy. I'm jealous that you have someone to help out!

    1. Yay! I love my tripod, but learn from my struggle and get a remote shutter controller as well if you plan on taking your own pictures. It would have made everything so much easier for me and so I'm getting my own asap :)

    1. Thanks Kat! The pink ombre was actually a mistake! It was supposed to be purple but the dye didn't work properly. I like how it ended up anyway :)

  13. Kelsey! Hey!
I've missed your blog. When I quit blogging a few weeks ago, I've also stopped reading blogs - which is something I love doing - because I didn't have time to do it. However, I've missed it so much that decided to go back blogging. First of all, thank you for your lovely comment on my last post in january. It was really nice and sweet.
About this post, I can say that I love your photos. You look beautiful, and the place is also great. It's kind of misterious. haha I mean, here everything's so different! I wish I could visit it. :)

Have a great end of week.
    See you soon, my friend!

I know what you mean, I've missed it but I've been so busy blogging and reading blogs has just fallen by the wayside. I'll hopefully find the time to get back to it now.
